Des Moines’ main post office has been cited for OSHA violations.  A federal investigation of the United States Postal Service office found problems with powered industrial vehicles, tugs and forklifts.  The proposed penalty for the violations is nearly 50-thousand dollars. A postal rep says the equipment has since been repaired.
