Looks like another battle shaping up between Iowa’s House and Senate. The house has approved a measure that would give the state control over when school districts start their calendar year, with a date no earlier than August 23rd.  The senate’s version gives control to the districts, and that most likely means a conference committee will have to find a compromise.
