Iowa’s Senator Chuck Grassley says he’s expecting bipartisan support for a bill aimed at the forfeiture of private property before someone’s been convicted of a crime. Grassley adds he wants to make sure forfeiture does not penalize innocent people, or get in the way of their right to due process in court.
