Blank Park Zoo’s Zoo Brew Returns

Zoo Brew returns to Blank Park Zoo on Wednesday, June 7. The age 21 and older fundraiser features music, adult beverages and the animals of Blank Park Zoo.

“The official start of summer at the Zoo begins with Zoo Brew,” said MaKenna Ludlow, event brewmaster. “When you buy a brew, you support the nonprofit Blank Park Zoo. All proceeds and tips from the event support the animals that live at Blank Park Zoo, educational programs, and our efforts to save animals that live in natural areas.”

By popular demand, more Zoo Brew evenings will be added to the calendar this year. The events will be held every Wednesday in June, skip a week for the holiday and then every week for five more weeks. Also returning is Halloween Zoo Brew on October 13.

Many fan-favorite bands are returning to Zoo Brew this year as well as several new bands to the event. The music genres include R&B, Country, Pop, Classic Rock, Dance and Disco.


The very popular Zoo Brew VIP Tickets are returning. The Zoo Brew VIP ticket includes early admission at 5:15 for samples, drink ticket, VIP koozie, access to an exclusive area in the Holmes Foster Event Center (near the music), and a VIP wrist band. A limit of 250 VIP tickets will be available weekly.

One Day Sale

There are two ways to take advantage of discount pricing for Zoo Brew tickets. One method is to purchase a Blank Park Zoo Membership which entitles you to free admission to Zoo Brew all season or discounted VIP admission tickets. The other is to participate in the One-Day-Sale on Wednesday, May 24 at blankparkzoo.com and save over 20 percent on general admission Zoo Brew tickets. Tickets will be just $14.

5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Tickets: $18, non-members are free; VIP: $32/$15 members
Ages 21 and over only. Everyone must present valid ID at the door. Animals will be outside until 30 minutes before sunset.
