Everyone’s favorite Big Karaoke competition is back at Prairie Meadows. Excitement is in the air as contestants compete for the $2,500 grand prize.
Only looking to be a spectator? You can still be a part of the competition by voting for your favorite contestant during Big Karaoke Showdown’s open round competition. Each week, one fan favorite will advance to the semifinal round.
OPEN ROUNDS • THURSDAYS, SEPTEMBER 7, 14 & 21
It’s your time to shine! To take part in the competition you’ll need to register for one our 15 performance spots. Stop by the Finish Line Show Lounge from 5:30pm – 6:30pm each open round night to fill out registration information. Performers will be randomly drawn each open round night. Must be a Prairie Gold Rewards member to compete. May only perform once during open rounds. Performances begin at 7pm.
SEMIFINAL • THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28
The top 15 performers from open round competition will be going head-to-head for a spot in the final round and a chance at the $2,500 grand prize. Come out and cheer on your favorite contestants. Performances begin at 7pm.
FINAL • THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5
Don’t miss the exciting conclusion! Come see who is crowned Big Karaoke Showdown champion and grand prize winner of $2,500. Performances begin at 7pm.
HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS
An independent panel of judges will rate each contestant. Contestants will be judged on their singing ability, star quality, costuming, and audience appeal.
During open rounds, the four highest scoring contestants will advance to the semifinal round. Audiences will have a chance to vote for their fan favorite, with the fan favorite winner also advancing to the semifinal round. There will not be fan favorite voting during the semifinal or final rounds.During the semifinal round, the 10 highest scoring contestants will advance to the final. In the event of a tie, a sing-off will be held to determine which contestant will move on.
FAN FAVORITE VOTING • THURSDAYS, September 7, 14 & 21
Pick up a ballot from a promotions team member in the Finish Line Show Lounge on open round performance nights. You may only receive one ballot. Deposit your ballot into the voting cube located near the registration table after the four qualifiers have been announced on the night of the performance. Fan favorite votes will be counted and announced shortly after.

4th & 5th place: $250
6th – 10th place: $100
All semifinalists that do not qualify for the final round will receive $50.
