CMA 2023 Artist of the Year, Jelly Roll, is coming to the Iowa State Fair on the first Saturday, August 10, 2024. A soaring chart-topping singer/songwriter, Jelly Roll, is known for his raw and authentic lyrics. He transcends traditional genre boundaries and has amassed a loyal fan following with his raw, heartfelt lyrics about his own struggles and triumphs.

Jelly Roll is a multi-genre singer and songwriter known for hit songs like “Son of A Sinner,” “Save Me”, and “Need a Favor.” He overcame a tumultuous adolescence and early adulthood to achieve his musical dreams. This turbulent past has helped inspire some of his most popular songs. Although he started in rap and hip-hop, the Tennessee native has emerged as a rising country music star. In April 2023, he won three CMT Music Awards, and last November, he was named CMA’s New Artist of the Year.

The 2024 Iowa State Fair Grandstand lineup is shaping up to be one for the history books. Tickets to Lauren Daigle with special guest Blessing Offor (Aug. 8), Foreigner with special guest Melissa Etheridge (Aug. 9), Thomas Rhett (Aug. 13), and NE-YO with special guest Eric Bellinger (Aug. 17) are already on sale. More concerts will be announced in the coming weeks.
