Central Iowa is getting more funding for affordable housing.  Polk, Dallas and Union counties are among those receiving grants from the Iowa Finance Authority.  The 83-million dollars in funding includes tax credits over ten years, and direct funding. Two of the projects getting funding are in Des Moines: MLK Senior Housing and South Ridge Senior Lofts.
