It’ll cost you more to eat in Iowa this year. Food prices at grocery stores are expected to edge up by 3-point-3 percent, according to USDA.  Restaurant prices are also expected to go up by just over 3 percent, thanks to an increase in beef and produce prices because of droughts elsewhere in the U-S.
