The bird flu has been confirmed at a farm holding nearly ten percent of Iowa’s egg-laying chickens.  USDA’s confirmation of the highly infectious virus means up to five million hens must be destroyed in Osceola County.  It’s the first chicken farm in the state to be hit with the virus.
