K-pop boy band Stray Kids’ new album, ATE, debuted at No. 1 on the current Billboard 200 album chart, followed closely behind by fellow K-pop megastar Jimin’s new record, MUSE, which came in at No. 2. This marks the first time in history that the top two slots on the Billboard 200 chart are filled by K-pop albums. ATE gives Stray Kids their fifth No. 1 album in a row, making them the first group ever to debut at No. 1 with their first five charting albums. DMX is the only other artist to debut at No. 1 with his first five chart entries between 1998-2003. The Twisters Soundtrack also had a strong debut by reaching No. 7, becoming the first soundtrack to reach the top 10 in 2024. Rounding out the Top 5 are Eminem’s The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) falling two spots to No. 3, Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department staying at No. 4, and Zach Bryan’s The Great American Bar Scene moving down two slots to No. 5.
