On Tuesday (August 20), Taylor Swift performed her eighth show of The Eras Tour at London’s Wembley Stadium. With that show – the final date of the European leg of The Eras Tour – Swift surpassed Michael Jackson’s 36-year-old performance record at the historic stadium.  Jackson performed seven sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium in the summer of 1988 as part of his worldwide Bad tour, the third of those shows was even attended by Princess Diana.

“You just made me the first solo artist to ever play Wembley eight times in a single tour,” Swift said appreciatively during her final Wembley show. “We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for it.” And to mark the record-breaking occasion, Swift brought out Florence + the Machine‘s Florence Welch to sing their recent collaboration, “Florida!!!” for the very first time on tour, while Taylor’s trusted producer and collaborator Jack Antonoff joined her on “Death by a Thousand Cuts” and “Getaway Car.” (People)
