Chad Taylor

Hello Des Moines, my name is Chad Taylor. I’m originally from Racine, Wisconsin, but really love calling central Iowa home. I’ve been blessed to experience a lot of really cool things over my career, including writing a Billboard Adult Contemporary Top 12 hit for Jordan Knight, I made a cameo on VH1’s Surreal Life season three, Bands Reunited, and even played a detective in the Lionsgate horror movie, Killer Holiday. I’m a former tour manager/artist manager/DJ for members of New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees, Color Me Badd, B5 and more.

I’m a big believer in giving back to the communities I’ve called home over the years. I served proudly as a part-time/volunteer firefighter for over 27 years. I’m also a proud member of the city of Altoona Arts and Culture Committee, and an officer with the Knights of Columbus Council 13109 Altoona.

My wife’s name is Tracy Lynn, we’ve been blessed with four kids including Macy Lynn, a freshman at Iowa State University, Tyler, Makenzie, a Police Officer with the city of Milwaukee, and Jon, who proudly serves in the United States Army at the National Guard Headquarters in Washington D.C.

I enjoy reading, old TV shows, live concerts, and travelling with my family. I’m now a grandpa, so spending time with my granddaughters tops the list of favorite things to do when I’m not working.
